Carlos Millán is an auctioneer, art dealer, and Doctor of French Literature, renowned for his expertise in European and Mexican Old Master paintings. For more than a decade, he has operated at the heart of the international art market, advising a demanding clientele of private collectors, institutions, and investors in the building, valuation, and transmission of exceptional collections.
Trained at prestigious institutions such as the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London and Drouot Formation in Paris, he directed the Paris office of Morton Casa de Subastas, where he managed major operations between Europe and Mexico, combining expertise, negotiation, and international market strategy.
Founder of Maison Millán, he now develops a bespoke approach to art consulting, combining academic rigor, attention to detail, and curatorial vision. He designs and supports exclusive projects, from the acquisition of rare works to the promotion of artists on the Parisian scene through high-level exhibitions and collaborations.
